Brows built on your bone structure.
Shaping and tint for a reset, ombré powder and permanent makeup when you want to stop drawing them on. Every shade is mixed for your skin tone and mapped before a needle or wax strip is touched.
The shape comes first, always.
Brows frame everything else on the face, so Yen measures against your own features rather than a trend. Arch placement follows your brow bone, the tail is set against your eye, and the tint is mixed a shade softer than your hair so it reads natural in daylight.
If your brows are growing back from over-plucking, say so when you book. Shaping gets conservative and the tint does the heavy lifting while the gaps fill in.
- Measured mapping before any hair is removed
- Wax, tweeze or both, depending on your skin
- Tint lasts around three to four weeks
Semi-permanent, deliberately soft.
Ombré powder brows, lash-line eyeliner and lip blush — pigment placed in the skin so your features hold shape without a pencil. Everything is built lighter than you expect on day one, because saturation is easy to add at the perfecting session and slow to take back.
Ombré powder brows
A soft gradient, light at the front and denser through the tail, like brow powder that does not come off. Suits oily skin and mature skin better than hair-stroke techniques.
Permanent eyeliner
From an invisible lash enhancement that just makes the lash line look fuller, through to a soft defined wing.
Lip blush
A wash of colour that brings definition back to the lip border and evens out tone. Not lipstick — a tint of your own lips, done better.
Two appointments, one result
Permanent makeup is never finished in a single sitting. The perfecting session is part of the service, not an upsell.
Before the day
Medical history, shade discussion and a patch test. You will also get a short list of things to avoid in the 48 hours before — caffeine, alcohol, blood thinners and retinol.
Your main session
The shape is drawn on and approved in the mirror by you before any pigment goes in. Numbing throughout. Around three hours start to finish.
Six to eight weeks later
Once the skin has healed and the true colour settles, Yen adjusts density and shape. This is where the final result actually lands.
What the first two weeks look like
Everyone goes through the same arc, and knowing it in advance stops the day-five panic.
- Days 1 to 3 — darker and sharper than the final result
- Days 4 to 7 — light flaking, do not pick
- Days 8 to 14 — colour looks faint, this is normal
- Week 4 onward — true tone surfaces
- No swimming, saunas or sun on the area while healing

Brow & PMU questions
Most clients describe it as scratchy rather than painful. Topical numbing is applied before and reapplied through the session. Brows are usually the easiest area, lips the most sensitive.
Typically one to three years depending on your skin type, sun exposure and skincare. Oily skin and regular acid or retinol use fade pigment faster. An annual colour boost keeps it looking fresh.
Sometimes. It depends on how saturated and what colour the existing pigment healed to. Send clear, unfiltered photos in daylight before booking and Yen will tell you honestly whether it is a cover, a correction after removal, or not workable yet.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding, active skin conditions in the area, recent Botox or filler in the area, isotretinoin use within the last year, and certain medical conditions all mean waiting or getting clearance from your doctor first. It all gets covered in the consultation.
No. Powder brows replace the tint. If you still have natural hairs you want darkened for contrast, Yen will say so at your perfecting session.
Brow work from the chair
Shot in the studio, unfiltered. Shapes are mapped to each face, so no two sets here are the same.

No commitment. Bring photos of what you like, and Yen will tell you what will actually suit your face.
